The casting director for The Lone Ranger is looking for contract musicians. Anyone interested should email Alexis at alexiscorbin@comcast.net with a headshot (need not be a professional pic, just a photo of their face) and a contact phone number. She'll send the info on to the casting director, who makes the final determination of who will be cast. Anyone interested will need to be willing to become Musicians’ Union members- this is a union job. Must be 18 or older and a US citizen to be cast. Here’s what they're looking for: Bluegrass band- retro/youngish look, all male Tentative dates March 9—fitting March 12- rehearsal March 13 and 14- filming Need: piano, fiddle, trumpet, t-bone, bass clarinet which doubles on accordion Marching band- all-male mid April (dates are TBA) 16 members, flexible instrumentation, middle-aged Caucasian Need: fife, trumpets, t-bones, tuba, snare, cymbals, bass drum Temperance Society band Also mid-April Need: Accordion/squeezebox, trombone, snare, cymbal, triangle- at least one female, possibly on triangle Pay: This is an AFM contract. The pay is $198.62 per day, plus, 10.9 pension, $36.54 health and welfare for each service. Doubling is 25% for first double and 10% each additional instrument. Fitting pay is approximately $38.00 depending on time.
