Research Quest Day 2010 OPEN TO ALL FRESHMEN STUDENTS (ALL MAJORS ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE) University College is pleased to present an initiative entitled, Research Quest Day. This event is geared to display the works of primarily freshmen and students involved with the Research Service Learning Programs, Freshmen Academic Choices: FIG, FLC, LLC and FISC. Research Quest encourages freshmen to participate as an invaluable learning experience, as they begin their academic journey at UNM. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 Student Union Building 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Set Up for Posters ONLY (Research Quest Day) Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Student Union Building (Ballrooms B) 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Registration for student projects opens: Monday, August 23, 2010 Deadline for all student project submissions is: Friday,October 22, 2010 by 10:00 a.m. • $ LOBO CASH $ WILL BE AWARDED FOR BEST PROJECTS • ORAL/ POWER POINT, POSTERS, PERFORMANCE/CREATIVE PROJECTS, ROUNDTALBE DISCUSSIONS, SPOKEN WORD POETRY, DANCE, ART DISPLAYS, SHORT FILMS, ARCHITECTUAL DESIGNS, ENGINEERING MODELS, etc. ~ACCEPTED~ • All Projects MUST have a FACULTY / STAFF MENTOR • GROUP PROJECTS ARE PERMITTED TO HAVE NO MORE THAN 4 INDIVIDUALS If you have any questions about this event, please let me know.
