516 ARTS, BASEMENT FILMS, EXPERIMENTS IN CINEMA
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2011--7pm
516 ARTS welcomes Bryan Konefsky and Basement Films to screen and discuss films about super-heroes, anti-heroes, imaginary-friend heroes, lucha libre heroes, cake decorating heroes, terrorist heroes and other heroes lurking in the nooks and crannies of our Gotham City.
Featured films will include Suffragette Slasher by Julie Perini, Alone by Gerard Freixes Ribera, Creamistress 6: The Centered Polenta by Carolyn Sorter, Bif vs Bam by Ben Popp, America's Biggest Dick by Bryan Boyce, Teslamania by Joel Schlemowitz, Media Burn by Ant Farm and more!
In addition to this one-night event at 516 ARTS, many of these short films will be on view throughout the exhibition looped in a viewing room in the gallery.
