My name is Marika Adair, and I am the Programming Director for the Visions 9 Film Festival & Conference, hosted by the UNCW Film Studies Department. Visions is an event run for students by students, with a focus on showcasing the talents and skills of undergraduate filmmakers and scholars. We are all incredibly excited to see the amazing work from undergraduate students from around the world!
Each year we reach out to other universities and extend an offer to their talented undergraduates to submit their work to our multifaceted event. We have contacted you because we believe that you can help us spread the word and encourage your students to submit.
Below is information regarding how to submit work (short film or paper abstract) to Visions 9:
All film and paper submissions must have been completed between January 2017 and January 2019 by an undergraduate student(s) to be considered. No works-in-progress will be accepted. Submission related inquiries should be directed to Marika Adair at visions9programming@gmail.com.

• Early Submission Deadline: December 3rd, 2018
• Regular Film Submission Deadline: January 4th, 2019
• Paper Abstract Submission Deadline: January 4th, 2018
• Late Film Submission Deadline: January 25th, 2018
Submission Instructions

We'd also love if you could help spread the word, whether via social media, email, or flyers, so artists and scholars early in their career can get the recognition they deserve! Follow this link www.visionsffc.org/call-for-entries/ to find a downloadable copy of our Call for Entries poster.
Thank you for your time!
