My professional band, ALCHEMIE, has a concert on Saturday October 20th. We'll perform two sets of music from 7pm to 9pm at Solid Grounds Coffee House, 4601 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE. They have a good sized stage, lighting, and sound tech.
Alchemie is a two person band: drum set, keyboard. Both of us sing. We would like to document the entire two set concert with the intent of selecting individual songs from the concert for further computer treatment in the near future. Please go to alchemielab.com to listen to our recorded work.
We’re considering working with students and UNM faculty that have experience in filming live music performances. We would like to hear your creative, experimental, ideas.
Documenting the concert will be the first objective and of course it will be paid. The second objective will be to have one or more songs that will be “worked” into little musical / video gems that you and the band will be proud of. Naturally you’ll be paid for all your efforts so I’ll need an estimate of cost at some point after we’ve spoken.
