I’m a senior at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, and I’m currently working on my thesis film. My film aims to bring people together in the current political climate, as it is a family film and I want to showcase the importance of family and compassion.
We are planning on traveling down to Albuquerque during the month of January. We will be taking 8 people from our university down to Albuquerque.
We are extremely passionate about this project, and we are all working hard to make it a reality.
However, this is a very ambitious project and we can’t do it alone, we would love to work with your film students. My university has taught me that one of the most important things in filmmaking is collaborating, and since we won't be able to take a full crew with us due to monetary reasons, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to work with people we have never work with before.
We are mainly looking for grips, art assistants, AC’s, gaffers, PA’s, and a production manager that has experience filming in Albuquerque.
I would be thrilled if you would be able to pass down this information to your students/alumni. We want to bring people together with this film and what better way to start than to collaborate with another film school!
