As many of you know we are in the thick of rolling out mandatory sexual assault prevention training for students. I wanted to let you know a few items as you are a primary source of information for students.
• Today we will send a direct email to all students classified as Sophomores and Juniors who meet the criteria and are required to take The Grey Area training. *Please note that not all students who are Freshmen and Sophomores are automatically exempt.* • We have opened several more sessions for the remainder of the semester. Please check out thegreyarea.unm.edu/ to see dates and times. • Sessions for Summer and Fall will be added as soon as classroom schedules for those semesters become available. • Summer and Fall registration will not be impacted for students who don’t take the training this semester. However, please encourage students to get it taken care of sooner than later. • We have created a fairly extensive FAQ for the training. Many questions student have can be answered by referring them to loborespect.unm.edu/education/greyarea/FAQ.html
Thank you for your support of this initiative and please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
Sincerely, Lisa
