A Midsummer Night’s Dream, re-imagined in a post-apocalyptic world, where the language and wit of Shakespeare's beloved comedy come to life in a new and exciting way. This highly physical version, features a cast of twenty-five of UNM’s finest actors led by director Joe Alberti, with choreography by Vladimir Conde Reche, costume design by Stacia Smith, scenic design by Inseung Park and lighting design by Hans Engvall. Rodey Theatre will be transformed into a magical space, filled with music, light, and even trampolines; with the audience up close, and able to experience all the passion, comedy, and chaos of this great work as never before.
November 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 at 7:30pm and November 9, 16 at 2pm
