An evening of site-specific dance Choreographed by MFA in Dance Candidate Lisa Nevada Radicles: Rediscovering humankind’s primary roots is an evening of site specific dance, choreographed by MFA in Dance candidate Lisa Nevada. Set in Albuquerque's beautiful South Valley, west of the newly established Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge, Radicles explores the significance of the human/nature interface. Using movement research and kinetic experiments directly connected to the sophisticated networks of soil, plants and trees, animals and water, Nevada along with composer Carl Landa, costume designers Jessica Greaves and Erik Flores, and ten extraordinary dance artists, has created an experience that will bring nature forward in untraditional and radical ways, and reawaken our souls to the fragility and importance of the natural world.
