Free Film ‘Service: When Women Come Marching Home’ Offered October 8, 2012 | By Carolyn Gonzales A free screening of “Service: When Women Come Marching Home” is set for Monday, Oct. 29, with refreshments at 5 p.m., the film presentation at 5:30 p.m., and a 30 minute Q & A at 6:30 p.m., in the Domenici Center Auditorium, located directly south of the Domenici Center. This film, generally appropriate for mature viewers only, portrays the courage of women veterans as they transition from active duty to their civilian lives. The film depicts the trauma they endure, their invisible as well as physical injuries, and the challenges they face receiving benefits and care. The film follows them through the large and small accomplishments they work mightily to achieve.
