6th at 8:00pm at Hotel Andaluz (125 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102): UNM Jazz Combos.
9th at 3:00pm: Second Sunday Faculty Series. Leslie Umphrey, soprano; Sam Shepperson, tenor; Michael Hix, baritone; Kristin Ditlow, piano feature Dimanche sur la ville. Music by Poulenc, Debussy, Chabrier, Chausson, and Satie. $12/10/5.
12th at 7:30pm: Faculty Recital featuring Dr. Christopher Buckholz, trombone. A recital of new and old music with Natalia Ross, piano and Scott Ney, percussion. Works by Barbara York, Johann Albrechtsberger, Eric Ewazen, James Stephenson and Arthur Pryor. $12/10/5.
13th at 7:30pm: Music from the Americas Concert Series presents Aleck Karis, piano. All-Debussy program on his 100th death anniversary. $12/10/5.
15th at 12:00pm: Suzuki Lab School Noon Recital featuring students studying in the Lab School under the direction of the UNM String Pedagogy Intern Teachers.
19th at 7:30pm in Popejoy Hall: Wind Symphony directed by Eric Rombach-Kendall. Celebrating Leonard Bernstein Centennial: Symphonic Suite from On the Waterfront. $10/8/5.
21st at 6:00pm: Rebecca Kendall, Senior Voice Recital.
23rd at 3:00pm: Guest Artist Recital. Priscilla Hallberg, violin, Fred Sturm, piano. Music of Schumann, Debussy, Sarasate, Rutty and Carro. $12/10/5.
25th at 7:30pm in Popejoy Hall: Symphony Orchestra directed by Dr. Jorge Pèrez-Gòmez presents Haydn’s Oboe Concerto featuring Music Faculty Dr. Kevin Vigneau, oboe soloist. Program will also includes Jose Pablo Moncaoy’s Huapango and Beethoven’s 6th Symphony. $15/10/5.
28th at 7:30pm: New Music New Mexico and Composition Studio directed by David Felberg, Dr. Karola Obermüller and Dr. Peter Gilbert.
