Friday, April 13th 9:30am to 2:00pm UNM Photo Dept. Using a historic hand-cranked 35mm camera, loving called "the Lunchbox," this workshop will examine the filmmaking strategies and technologies during the time of Lumière and early cinema. Workshop participants will create a single shot "Lumière/vérité reel" and then learn to process, print, tone and project the final result. It will be led by Taylor Dunne and Eric Stewart, who are film artists from Colorado. All experience levels welcome! The workshop is free but space is limited!
