Good morning!
I hope this email finds you well. I work at the Southwest Environmental Finance Center in the School of Engineering and we’re looking to hire a work-study student with interest/experience in communications/outreach/marketing. Would you please forward the job description (below) and requisition number (UNM Jobs requisition 3141) on to your students?
This is a work-study position, so students who apply have to have received a federal work-study award (and have funds available for this semester) and have to be registered for a minimum of 6 credit-hours this semester.
The communications intern would help with one or more of the following tasks:
• updating and upgrading the SW EFC’s website,
• designing/branding outreach materials (including working with staff to update project descriptions and impacts on the EFCs website and blog),
• creating/editing videos and other multi-media communications,
• design graphics for various EFC projects,
• assist with analysis and segmentation of Google Analytics reports, and/or MailChimp marketing campaigns.
I am hoping to recruit a motivated student (junior ideally) who has some experience with communications, outreach, graphic design, content management and website design. A brief job description is included below. Students can apply through UNM Jobs (requisition #3141).
I am hoping to do interviews starting on November 21st, so please encourage students to apply asap. The application is not very long.
Thanks for your help with reaching out to your work-study eligible students! If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to email me. My signature is included at the very bottom of this email.
