The Women’s Resource Center is also still looking to fill our Women’s Health Program Specialist position! This is a student work-study position in which you will assist the department with research, writing, events, and provide leadership and mentorship development within our health education and mentoring programming efforts. You will assist with the Summer Traditional Health Fair and health focused events throughout the semester. You will also provide general office support. You can apply here:

On August 23rd, the WRC will be hosting an open house from 4-6pm! Come learn about the different programming we will have for the semester while enjoying food and music!
TheWRC will also be participating in UNM Safety Week September 18th-September 22nd! We will be presenting national speaker Kate Harding alongside the Office of Equal Opportunity Thursday August 21st from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the SUB Ballroom! Kate Harding is the author of Asking for It: The Alarming Rise of Rape Culture--and What We Can Do about It. There will be several other events this week.
