The Cinematic Arts Department is hosting our End-of-Semester Student Showcase, featuring student work completed in IFDM and Media Arts classes during the Fall 2016 semester. The Student Showcase will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Mesa del Sol facility (5700B University West Blvd, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106), and will be open to the public from 1:30–3:30 pm. This open-format showcase will feature work produced by Cinematic Arts students as part of their Fall 2016 coursework in a variety of new and emerging technologies. Visual Effects, Animation, Film, Game Development, Interactive and Digital Design, Screenwriting, Photography, Trans Media and Digital Media Ethics, Film History and Criticism will be represented. Students from every IFDM and Media Arts class will be on hand to discuss their projects and areas of study. Student attendance is mandatory. Be sure to be there on Friday and participating. If you're in more than one IFDM or MA course, you can rotate your time between them and check out other student's work as well. Please see the shuttle schedule here ifdm.unm.edu/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Revised-MDS-Fall-schedule-8-30-16.pdf for a list of times the shuttle runs to and from Mesa del Sol on Friday. Please join us!
