Moroccan art history lecture set for March 7

“Amazingh Arts: Women Shaping Berber Identity,” a Moroccan art history lecture presented by the Art Education Graduate Student Association, is set for Monday, March 7 from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. in Mitchell Hall Room 101.
Cynthia Becker, a Moroccan art history expert and associate professor of art history at Boston University, will lead the lecture. Addi Ouadderrou, owner of Moroccan Caravan and Indigenous Berber, follows Becker. He will talk about a proposed UNM Global Education 2017 Morocco study abroad trip.
After the event, the conversation continues with a potluck at Associate Professor Nancy Pauly’s home, 4040 Smith Ave. SE 87108 at 7:15 p.m. To RSVP, contact Pauly at (505) 206-8073.
