Oasisamerica y DanEPD present: "ALBUREZ" Students from the UNM "Re-Mix Culture" course (Art & Art History) and the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) are engaging in a semester-long partnership centered on the concept of the remix as a strategy for collaboration and creating shared dialogue between the cities of Albuquerque, USA and Juárez, Mexico. The groups will present "ALBUREZ," their first public event in downtown Juárez at the Centro Municipal de las Artes on Thursday, March 12 from 7-10pm (MTN). The event will feature live video performances from both UNM and UACJ students in concert with DJ DanEPD. In April, UACJ students will travel to Albuquerque for the final public video/performance event, which will take place on Thursday, April 30th from 8-11pm (MTN) [location TBA].
