Hemisphere: Visual Cultures of the Americas is proud to announce the third issue of an annual publication edited and produced by graduate students in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of New Mexico.
Further, we would like to extend to you an invitation to join us on Friday, September 24, 2010 in the Trailblazer/Sprit Room (upper level, student union building (SUB)) for a symposium in honor of the completion of this edition.

Hemisphere is an annual, peer-reviewed publication produced by graduate students affiliated with the Department of Art and Art History at the University of New Mexico. Hemisphere provides a forum for graduate students to present scholarship and studio practice pertaining to all aspects and time periods of the visual and material cultures of North, Central, and South America, the Caribbean, and related world contexts. Through the production of Hemisphere students promote their educational and professional interests as they gain first-hand experience in academic publishing.
