Hey Lobos!

Happy Veteran’s Day! We hope you’re having a great week! Here are a few updates from ASUNM:

-We will be hosting a town hall with GPSA with Provost Abdallah on Monday, November 14th in the SUB Atrium from 12:00-1:00. Please join us, learn more about academic affairs at UNM and most importantly, ask questions! There will be free food and refreshments!

-We would like to congratulate all of the Fall Mountain West Conference and MPSF champions! We are so proud of our Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams along with our Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams! Please continue to support all of our Lobo athletes!

-We are working on bringing a bike share program to campus. This program will be free for students with a UNM ID. Students can rent bikes from solar powered kiosks around campus and use them for a specific amount of time and return them to any other kiosk. There is still a lot of work to be done, but we are excited!

-The Senate passed a resolution requesting an official study of the Lottery Scholarship and to see how much money is left in the fund. We want to make sure as many students as possible continue to benefit from the Lottery. Remember to mark your calendars for January 31st, UNM Day in Santa Fe! We want as many students to go as possible!

-The Student Fee Review Board process is beginning, and we would like your feedback about where you feel student fees are best spent! Email asunmprz@unm.edu and share your thoughts.

-Please stop by our office and check out the available positions on University Boards and Committees. All undergraduate students are eligible to serve as representatives of the student body.

-Lastly, remember to like our ASUNM Student Government Facebook page and follow @ASUNM_Lobos on Twitter!

If you have any questions, comments or concerns please always remember to stop by our office in the lower level of the SUB and talk with us! Have a safe weekend!
