Students who are interested in taking Art Practices I this semester but are having difficulty getting in to sections at UNM will find this information useful:
CNM is now offering Art Practices I (4 sections) beginning Fall 2012, in order to supplement the course that UNM offers and also to continue to coordinate our programs according to the 2+2 Agreement that has now been in place for several semesters. CNM Art courses are fully transferable to UNM and students CAN attend both institutions concurrently.
After checking your Fall Art Practices I offerings, it appears that all 5 of the sections UNM offers for FALL 2012 are full. PLEASE FEEL FREE to inform your students that CNM is offering 4 sections in FALL 2012. Our CNM courses begin AUG 27, one week after UNM begins (Aug 20), allowing worried students the opportunity to get started with the semester, as well as a LATE START class beginning SEPTEMBER 17. CNM also allows students to add courses during the first week of classes, so please help UNM Art students who are unable to add your courses by informing them of this great opportunity! We have been hard at work all summer creating a very strong and consistent course compatible with UNM's course.
